On June 14th, the grand opening of the Shenlu Aurora Pavilion was held in the Arctic Village of Mobei, located at the northernmost tip of our motherland. With a total investment of 110 million yuan and covering an area of 5,000 square meters, this complex integrates various formats such as a spherical screen cinema, cultural and creative store, aurora museum, and patriotic education base. It not only echoes the development concept of "icy and snowy land is also invaluable asset" proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, but also marks a groundbreaking achievement that lights up the extremely cold region: the birth of the country's first 4D immersive sound spherical screen cinema.
In the 4D dome theater project, Soundking broke through the traditional surround sound format to create a dome theater, paired with the world-leading HOA immersive sound reinforcement technology from the British brand Cadac. In the themed film "Flying over the Greater Khingan Range", the audience feels as if they are immersed in the scene, traversing through the forest and snowfield, overlooking the winding Long River, and enjoying the immersive experience of "traveling in the painting" with the precise linkage of the dynamic seats.
The project utilizes the CP series immersive sound processor from the British Cadac brand, with its computational core employing an FPGA processing mechanism to ensure that prolonged operation at high frequencies does not generate additional redundant data, thereby affecting the overall system stability. Furthermore, the digital vertical audio link system significantly enhances the efficiency of project debugging and delivery.
For the spherical screen space with a diameter of 23 meters, dozens of Soundking CY08 two-way immersive sound coaxial loudspeakers are deployed, utilizing a point-source coaxial design that effectively enhances sound clarity, boasts high sensitivity, and transient response capability. This design effectively addresses the common sound focusing issues of spherical ring screens, ensuring uniform sound coverage behind the 750㎡ transparent screen while maintaining high-fidelity sound output. To enhance low-frequency performance, the system is paired with Soundking GL218 dual 18-inch subwoofer speakers, making the bass more powerful and vigorous. Additionally, to reduce the overall resonance impact during the operation of multiple projectors, Soundking has specially customized a stable stand inclined upward by 10 degrees to secure the subwoofer speakers.
The system utilizes the Soundking DG series digital power amplifier, equipped with a high-performance audio-dedicated DSP, a high dynamic and high-precision AD/DA converter, and a 3.3-inch high-definition LCD display. The power amplifier can be monitored through RS-485 and the LCD panel. It can also receive analog audio and AES digital audio signals. Utilizing self-developed multi-loop control technology, especially for power amplification technology under low impedance and high current conditions, the power amplifier exhibits significant efficiency advantages and operates stably and reliably.
In terms of IoT command, this project integrates the Soundking IoT edge computing host (CT02) and the IoT intelligent power manager (RP12-20A) to achieve centralized control of audio, video, lighting, and power, greatly enhancing the user's management experience of devices and making operation extremely simple. It can also accurately collect voltage data from key devices.
By analyzing electrical parameters such as current, combined with data analysis capabilities, potential risks such as overload and abnormal heating can be actively identified, and early warnings can be issued to effectively prevent screening interruptions caused by device failures, ensuring the continuity of film broadcasts.
In Mohe, atop this "golden and silver mountain", Soundking brings the superb 4D cinema experience to the people. This is a combination of technology and art, a carrier of mass culture, and an important force driving cultural prosperity in the new era.
