Professional sound reinforcement for an immersive auditory experience
The core of this sound reinforcement system utilizes the CP32 immersive sound processor from CADAC, a renowned brand under Soundking. The loudspeakers installed on the top of the venue adopt an internal and external mirrored installation design, which not only expands the sound field coverage but also introduces sound interference issues between loudspeakers. Therefore, the application of the immersive sound HOA algorithm for de-coherence processing not only resolves sound interference and comb filtering but also enhances the clarity of the sound reinforcement experience. After immersive sound processing, the sound overlap between each set of loudspeakers achieves excellent auditory fusion in the coverage area, thereby increasing the uniformity of sound coverage across the entire audience seating area.
As a standard venue with the capability to host international events, the Ningbo Tennis Center can accommodate nearly 4,000 spectators for simultaneous viewing. It not only undertakes high-level sports events but also serves diverse functions such as urban cultural activities. In the context of the increasing integration of sports events and cultural performances, ensuring that every spectator at the venue can experience sound with distinct levels, abundant intensity, and realistic details has become a key challenge for the upgrade of the venue's sound reinforcement system
Soundking, leveraging its profound technical expertise gained from serving major projects such as the Beijing Olympic Games, Shanghai World Expo, Hangzhou Asian Games, and the 93rd National Day Parade, has tailored a complete immersive sound reinforcement system solution for the Ningbo Tennis Center, providing audiences with an "immersive" viewing and performance experience. Recently, the renovated and upgraded venue has been officially put into use, significantly enhancing the on-site audio-visual experience.

Considering that the interior of the venue building is made up of metal panel structures, two different types of loudspeakers were adopted in the design of the sound system to reduce excessive strong reflections of sound sources. Among them, the inner stands were equipped with Soundking L15F (waterproof) passive two-way loudspeakers, which feature precise horn directionality, enabling good control over sound coverage and reducing unnecessary sound spillage, thus avoiding interference with the competition venue. The high-level stands were arranged in a mirror-symmetrical layout with the inner venue stands, with multiple points set up for outward sound reinforcement. Considering that the height of sound reinforcement should be within a projection distance of 8 meters, Soundking CY12 two-way immersive coaxial loudspeakers were used. This approach not only reduces unnecessary low-frequency output but also ensures the listening experience, naturalness, and comfort of the audience on site.

The control room of the tennis center has chosen the Soundking MS6A two-way active monitor loudspeaker, equipped with imported HIFI speakers. The unique split cabinet acoustic structure design brings excellent sound quality that is rich, soft, clear, and bright. It is worth mentioning that the Soundking MS series active monitor loudspeakers were used as mixing booth monitoring equipment at the world-renowned "93rd National Day Parade", marking their debut on the stage of the country's highest-level ceremony. This series of products has obtained multiple national technology patents.
The amplifier used in this sound reinforcement system is the Soundking DG series digital power amplifier, equipped with a high-performance audio-dedicated DSP and a high-dynamic, high-precision AD/DA converter. Coupled with the digital and analog parallel outputs of the CP32 immersive sound processor, it forms a dual backup mechanism for the audio circuit, providing strong protection for the safety of the event system.
IoT central control precisely manages and controls on-site devices
The CT02 IoT edge computing host, independently developed by Soundking, serves as the "smart brain" of the entire system. It can professionally and centrally manage and control various devices such as sound, light, electricity, video, and communication on-site, significantly simplifying the operation process. Furthermore, it enables remote IoT control over various smart devices. By collecting environmental data, voltage, and current consumption information of devices in real-time and based on in-depth analysis of these data, it effectively prevents and addresses potential issues, ensuring absolute safety for every event.
