The main stadium of Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center, one of the landmarks of Hangzhou Asian Games, is located in Qianjiang New City on the north bank of Qiantang River. It adopts a unique streamline shape, combined with a double-layer full-coverage silver-white metal roof and two open wings, resembling a dancing butterfly, and reflects the "big lotus" main stadium across the river.
As one of the Asian Games renewal venues, Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium is designed with reference to the international basketball competition venues, with a seating capacity of 18,000, which can meet all specifications of international and domestic events, during the Asian Games, basketball matches will be played here.

As a sub-stadium for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, Xiaoshan Sports Center will host two important events of the Asian Games: soccer and weightlifting. After being upgraded and renovated according to the Asian Games standards, the "new look", the rhythmic lines of the facade, showing the image of the surging tide of the Qianjiang River, conveys the sports spirit of "faster, higher, stronger".
Xiaoshan Sports Center renovation and upgrading project mainly includes structural renovation of the stadium and stadium renovation and upgrading. Hangzhou Normal University Cangqian Campus Gymnasium is a renewal venue, as the final venue for men's and women's volleyball, where the gold medal of volleyball tournament will be born, with a construction area of 25,000 square meters and a height of about 20 meters, which can accommodate 8,000 people to watch volleyball matches at the same time after completion.
In addition to the stadium, the stadium at Hangzhou Normal University's Cangqian Campus will also be used as the rugby venue for the 2022 Asian Games, when the rugby finals will be held there.
